Tgiving

Thanksgiving wasn't too bad this year - plenty of good food, good tunes, good company, and good TV.  Problem was that my mom bought some pickles and olives which I filled up on an hour before we ate our meal.  When we ate I could only eat one serving, which as everyone knows is a complete waste of the American tradition of Thanksgiving!  Weaksauce I tell ya.

Of course around the middle of the day I got a little crazy and I put my favorite winter hat on Eli (left).  Turns out he loves it as much as I do!   Okay, maybe he took it off as soon as I stopped taking pictures, but he still needs to grow up. When my mom and I went to Target in LA we saw a reindeer hat and collar for Saybl - that's just something you don't pass up for $5!  We did pass up the 2-foot long bone, but I think Saybl was fine. Unlike Eli, she didn't love her hat too much, in fact I had to do many adjustments before we could get some golden shots.  As you can see in one shot she was distracted by a bone.  Oh, the poor dog that has the misfortune of living in the Posey household.  What torment.  Hey, what other dog do you know that gets ice in their water and their very own pillow?  Not many.

Besides the fact that we woke up at 3:30am for Black Friday shopping (best quote from my mom: "Lauren, I don't know how much this DVD player costs, but everyone was grabbing one so I did too.") and I didn't get a nap at all the next day, Thanksgiving served the Posey family well...and so have the leftovers!
"Get me out of here."  -Saybl Posey
