Ah, the time honored tradition of gathering with your friends near the Thanksgiving holiday. Ain't nothing else quite as sweet (except for the pumpkin pie of course). We all chipped in, creating a Thanksgiving feast of our very own, including frozen Jelly Bellies! Although the costumes weren't quite as enthusiastic this year, I feel Bryon won with the vest he made for Kari (pictured above). Although Bryon may not know, he has the hands of a very talented brown paper bag designer. Bryon and Kari also brought their very very sweet newborn Tyler to enjoy the festivities! The little one was a little grumpy because BYU just suffered a devastating loss, but like a champ he pulled through it and had an enjoyable time.
After feasting for a bit everyone went and played a little game of Lightning in the gym. Basketball after food = the perfect post chow activity. The entire time we were playing I was quite nervous because USC was playing Notre Dame at that exact time, and from looking at the details on my phone...USC wasn't doing too well.
Finally we probably took one of the worst group shots every, but hey, who wants to force all these beautiful people to take another photo? I sure didn't. After the photo I made a quick exit to watch the USC game at home, only to find that it wasn't broadcasted on TV so I had to stream it on the internet. Nothing is worse than seeing your team lose to an arch rival that you haven't lost to in years, on a computer, in Utah, with The Polar Express playing in the background. It hurt, but over the past few days I slowly pushed through the pain (or just ate some more turkey) and have begun preparing for the battle against UCLA next week!

I have to admit, Bryon surprised me with his vest-making skills. It was so fun to see you, Lauren! Tyler already misses you.
Lauren, you crack me up! 'Tis true, was a sad, sad day for Cougar Blue and USC. Losing to Notre Dame? Really?!!
